Might I suggest going to a kick ass show and see a lot of awesome local talents rocking it out? Maria's gonna be there, and I Mean the Snakes are gonna be playing too. Well, ok, full disclosure, I did the shot for them for the poster. But hey, it's for a good cause!

This post is titled Mr. T brought boy out of coma by author SoulJah.

Former The A-Team star Mr. T once stunned a sick child's family by bringing him out of a coma - after doctors begged the actor for help.

The poorly kid fell unconscious in Detroit, Michigan in the mid-1980s - and the only physical movement he made was in response to hearing Mr. T's name.

And when the mohawked star was in town, he stopped by the hospital to visit the ill boy - with miraculous results.

He tells Empire magazine, "His family put toys around him and one of them was a Mr. T doll. And whenever my name came up, the boy moved his arm.

"Somebody told the doctors I was in town, so they called me down there. I closed the curtains and prayed. Then, as I was walking down the hall, the kid suddenly came out of the coma and hollered out.

"That was my supernatural moment."

Turns out... Chuck Norris ain't got nothin' on Mr. T.

Oh wait...

I seriously loi-ed so I had to stop while on my commute to work and pulled over. I think I should have camera beside me more.

I didn't stay long to see the age old question being answered:

'If a tow truck is to(w)talled, should the tow truck call another tow truck?'

This post is titled Chasing Sunsets by author SoulJah. 0001_DSC_0149

I was heading out to meet the guys up at the Arch to go to Rano's open house later that night, and over the hills, up through a man made valley which was carved out for the 4 lane motorway, was this glorious, deep orange sunset, with slivers of silhouettes being thrown out against the trees and whatnot. Right at that moment I knew I wanted to take a picture of it, but problem was there was nowhere to shoot it without needing to go out, which, in retrospect, I should have done to do the shot proper, with tripod and all.

Anyway, I remembered a spot right infront of a newly finished (on the exterior at least) RTB building which has a large open space right in front of it, and there was a bit of road shoulder area which I could just stop and shoot out the window. So I gunned the accelerator, keeping an eye on the sunset, not wanting any glimmer of its glorious colors fading.

I've been meaning to shoot from there, and finally it's fulfilled. I just hope the building opens soon, so I can park within the compounds and not worry about traffice sideswipping me, my car or my lens.

This post is titled Why I was so happy yesterday... by author SoulJah. Chat transcript:

-my shipment out of hongkong is getting shipped out
-my contact lens solution that's almost ran out arrived, and got two of those
-i found [edit: my] bluetooth mouse in my brother's room, somehow i sensed it was there
-and finally my shipment that i thought was lost forever, was finally found, the seller on ebay finally got in contact with me and we sorted that out
-its getting shipped out today

Confused? Here's the explanation.

-My Graduated ND Filter
-I wear Hard Contacts, so it needs a special solution
-I thought I've lost my $89 Logitech Bluetooth Mouse at work, but I found it at home in my brother's room!
-I got two SB-24 Speedlights from an eBayer, but somehow eBay didn't pick up the payment from paypal so she thought I had not paid. Tried getting in contact with her, but somehow my messages ends up in Yahoo Mails spam folder, and they've had a surgery for the past month. So in any case, she sent off the two Speedlights yesterday! Woohoo! More

This post is titled Thundercats Movie Coming soon? by author SoulJah. Warner purrs for Thundercats

Wow. This either gonna be totally awesome, or totally bad.

It all depends on who'd they pick for the role of Cheetara.

We all know the one playing Cheetara would require acrobatic antics, stamina of a... well... Cheetah, and a body so hot, it makes you feel like you've just hit puberty all over again. Halle Berry could pull it off, but her recent run ins with the feline kind on the silver screen left a bad taste for some.

We all know Jolie would is a superb fit for this role, but normal Joe would be confused as to why does the Tomb Raider chick dressed up in Cheetah body paint?

Jessica Alba is can fit into this role as well. She hits all the buttons proper, but you'd imagine a warrior feline-woman would not sound like a whiny little girl.

I'd pick Eva Longoria in a heartbeat if it the role didn't require a tall, Amazonian, lithe physique. Why would I have chosen her? I want to watch as much of Ms. Longoria as much as I can.

So I have to settle for Eva Mendez. I don't care if she's not jumping over people's head and bashing their heads in with the staff. She can just stand there proudly chest out and holding the staff for all I'd care.

I know you people don't agree with my choices. So, what's the best that you can come up with?

This post is titled Ken Rockwell Facts by author SoulJah. * Ken Rockwell is the Chuck Norris of photography

* Ken Rockwell's camera has similar settings to ours, except his are: P[erfect] Av[Awesome Priority Tv[Totally Awesome Priority] M[ajestic]

* Ken Rockwell doesn't color correct. He adjusts your world to match his.

* Sure, Ken Rockwell deletes a bad photo or two. Other people call these Pulitzers.

* Ken Rockwell doesn't adjust his DOF, he changes space-time.

* Circle of confusion? You might be confused. Ken Rockwell never is.

* Ken Rockwell doesn't wait for the light when he shoots a landscape - the light waits for him.

* Ken Rockwell never flips his camera in portrait position, he flips the earth

* Ken Rockwell ordered an L-lens from Nikon, and got one.

* Ken Rockwell is the only person to have photographed Jesus; unfortunately he ran out of film and had to use a piece of cloth instead.

* When Ken Rockwell brackets a shot, the three versions of the photo win first place in three different categories

* Before Nikon or Canon releases a camera they go to Ken and they ask him to test them, the best cameras get a Nikon sticker and the less good get a Canon sticker

* Once Ken tested a camera, he said I cant even put Canon on this one, thats how Pentax was born

* Rockwellian policy isn't doublethink - Ken doesn't even need to think once

* Ken Rockwell doesn't use flash ever since the Nagasaki incident.

* Only Ken Rockwell can take pictures of Ken Rockwell; everyone else would just get their film overexposed by the light of his genius

* Ken Rockwell wanted something to distract the lesser photographers, and lo, there were ducks.

* Ken Rockwell is the only one who can take self-portraits of you

* Ken Rockwell's nudes were fully clothed at the time of exposure

* Ken Rockwell once designed a zoom lens. You know it as the Hubble SpaceTelescope.

* When Ken unpacks his CF card, it already has masterpieces on it.

* Rockwell portraits are so lifelike, they have to pay taxes

* On Ken Rockwell's desktop, the Trash Icon is really a link to National Geographic Magazine

* Ken Rockwell spells point-and-shoot "h-a-s-s-e-l-b-l-a-d"

* When Ken Rockwell went digital, National Geographic nearly went out of business because he was no longer phyically discarding photos

* For every 10 shots that Ken Rockwell takes, 11 are keepers.

* Ken Rockwell's digital files consist of 0's, 1's AND 2's.

* Ken Rockwell never focus, everything moves into his DoF

* Ken Rockwell's shots are so perfect, Adobe redesigned photoshop for him: all it consists of is a close button.

* The term tripod was coined after his silhouette

* Ken Rockwell never produces awful work, only work too advanced for the viewer

* A certain braind of hig-end cameras was named after people noticed the quality was a lot "like a" rockwell

* Ken Rockwell isn't the Chuck Norris of photography; Chuck Norris is the Ken Rockwell of martial arts.

This post is titled It's Over: Apple Unveils New Product-Unveiling Product by author SoulJah. SAN FRANCISCO-At a highly anticipated media event Tuesday at San Francisco's Moscone Center, Apple Inc. CEO Steve Jobs introduced a new Apple product he said would "revolutionize" the process of unveiling new products throughout the world.

"In 1984, Apple introduced the Mac," Jobs said to an overflowing crowd as an image of the first Macintosh computer was displayed on a giant screen behind him. "We changed the face of the music industry with the first iPod in 2001. And in January, we showed off the revolutionary new iPhone. Today, Apple is releasing a piece of innovative new technology that will forever change the way innovative new technology is released."

The iLaunch, as the new product is called, was then raised up from below the stage, prompting the audience of technology journalists, developers, and self-professed "Apple fanatics" to burst into a five-minute standing ovation.

This post is titled Kota Kinabalu Trip by author SoulJah. That was a total shamble. But man, we were laughing all the way doing it.

Didn't even get to do most of the things that we set out to do, but at least there were some memorable moments; life-lesson, character-building kinda things. Moments to be mentioned time and time again, finger pointing to be done here and there. But I for one, wouldn't have changed any moment of it.

Didn't even bring my D80 due to me being paranoid, but at least the N80 did it's fair share of work there. A couple of shots that I wouldn't even be ashamed to hang on the wall myself.
