There was a time when I was sitting in front of the telly, with USB external hard drive in one hand, and tv remote in the other. Then I try bashing em together to see the concoction I just triggered off in my brain would instamagically translate into the two items fusing. “Must… make… files… on… TV…”
Didn’t work.
So, I made a compromise. I said to myself, “I’ll just tether this to the new computer… oh no wait, not gonna buy a new one… Or maybe buy that enclosure that cos BND$900 that can connect the drive up through Ethernet to my Access Point… no wait… too expensive… Or keep the wi fi and just get that router that I can connect USB drive too… Oh wait… That’s not Samba, that’s only FTP…” at which point I’d blank out and fall asleep. And yes… That’s an actual train of thought…
